Paris Saint-Germain have expressed strong interest in Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi, identifying the 20-year-old as a potential replacement for Goncalo Ramos, according to TEAMtalk. The French champions are actively reshaping their attacking options ahead of the upcoming season, with several departures already underway.
PSG are preparing for the exit of Ramos, who is set to join AC Milan in a club-record deal, and Lee Kang-In, who is nearing a move to Atletico Madrid. Randal Kolo Muani is also expected to leave the Parc des Princes, creating a significant void in Luis Enrique’s forward line. Monaco’s Maghnes Akliouche is reportedly close to becoming Lee’s replacement, but PSG are also seeking a direct replacement for Ramos and Kolo Muani.
Kroupi enjoyed a breakthrough season with Bournemouth, becoming the highest-scoring teenager in the club’s Premier League history with 13 goals in 33 appearances. His performances have attracted the attention of PSG’s recruitment team, led by Luis Campos, who believe he possesses the qualities to thrive under Enrique and become a long-term asset. The club are also pursuing RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomande, with his arrival potentially leading to Bradley Barcola seeking a move away.
Bournemouth, however, are reluctant to sell Kroupi, viewing him as a key component of their long-term project under new head coach Marco Rose. The Cherries do not want to lose the young forward after just one impressive season. Despite this, Kroupi is aware of PSG’s interest and the opportunity to join a European elite, compete for major honours, and work with a highly-regarded manager like Enrique is considered appealing. The potential move could significantly strengthen PSG's attack, providing a dynamic new option in the forward line.
