Paris Saint-Germain are willing to allow forward Ibrahim Mbaye to leave the club this summer, with several Premier League teams expressing interest in the 18-year-old, according to TEAMtalk. Aston Villa are among the clubs exploring a potential move for the Senegal international.
Mbaye enjoyed a breakthrough season with PSG under Luis Enrique, making 31 appearances in all competitions and starting 10 Ligue 1 matches. He also featured for Senegal at the World Cup, scoring against France and appearing in four games overall.
Despite his progress, PSG officials acknowledge the intense competition for places in their attacking lineup and believe Mbaye may benefit from regular first-team football elsewhere. This has prompted them to consider offers for the promising youngster.
TEAMtalk reports that Aston Villa, Newcastle United, Brighton, Everton, Leeds United, and Bournemouth have all held discussions regarding Mbaye’s availability. Bournemouth were among the first clubs to inquire, while Villa and Newcastle have been long-term admirers of the versatile player.
Mbaye is capable of playing across the entire front line and is valued for his pace, direct running style, and technical ability. The player is prioritizing consistent senior football and a move to England is appealing, though interest also exists from clubs in Germany, Italy, and Spain.
PSG are not actively seeking to sell Mbaye but are open to letting him leave if it benefits his development. Any deal will reportedly include a sell-on clause, ensuring the French champions benefit from any future transfer. The interest from six Premier League clubs suggests a competitive market could develop in the coming weeks.
Mbaye progressed through PSG’s academy and has shown promise under Enrique, but is now seeking a new challenge to secure more consistent playing time.
