Manchester City midfielder Tijjani Reijnders is attracting interest from several clubs, including Arsenal, ahead of the summer transfer window, according to TEAMtalk. The Netherlands international joined City from AC Milan last June for a fee of £46.5 million, making a promising start with a goal and assist on his Premier League debut.
However, Reijnders’ playing time has decreased as the season progressed under Pep Guardiola, leading to questions about his future at the Etihad Stadium. City are reportedly open to offers around £45 million, seeking to recoup their investment and refresh the squad. The player is seeking regular playing time at a Champions League level club.
Juventus are currently leading the chase for Reijnders, with sources indicating regular contact between the club and the player’s representatives. The Italian side are “fascinated” by the 27-year-old, who previously impressed during his time at AC Milan, demonstrating composure and tactical flexibility. Intermediaries have begun exploring potential deals.
Arsenal have also expressed interest in Reijnders, viewing him as a potential addition to their midfield. While a move to the Emirates is not currently advanced, it remains a possibility as Mikel Arteta and Andrea Berta assess options for squad improvement. Aston Villa and Newcastle United are also monitoring the situation, along with a speculative link to a return to AC Milan.
City’s potential sale of Reijnders could free up funds for their own midfield targets, with Nottingham Forest’s Elliot Anderson identified as a major summer target. The club may also be influenced by the future of Rodri, who has been linked with a return to Real Madrid. City’s sporting director, Hugo Viana, is reportedly working to convince Rodri to remain at the club.
