Leonardo Spinazzola has extended his contract with Napoli until 2028, the club confirmed on Saturday. The agreement secures the future of the Italy international at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona for a further two years.
Spinazzola’s wife, Miriam Sette, publicly celebrated the renewal via a heartfelt message on Instagram, expressing the family’s deep connection with the city and club. She highlighted the peace and serenity they have found in Naples, and the sense that “everything is possible” thanks to the club and the city.
The left-back joined Napoli in 2024 after a successful spell with Roma, where he was a key player under manager José Mourinho. He quickly established himself as a regular starter for Napoli, contributing both defensively and offensively. Last season, Spinazzola made 32 appearances across all competitions, providing three assists and becoming a fan favourite with his energetic performances.
Napoli will be hoping Spinazzola can continue his strong form as they look to build on their recent successes. The extension provides stability to the left-back position and demonstrates the club’s commitment to retaining key players as they compete in Serie A and European competitions. The club finished the 2025-26 season strongly, securing Champions League qualification, and Spinazzola will be integral to their ambitions moving forward.
