Discussions are primarily centered around the valuation of Vuskovic, with Brighton interested in a move for the Croatian centre-back, and the transfer of Van Hecke to North London.
Sources indicate growing confidence that an agreement for Van Hecke will be reached, with the player having already informed Brighton of his desire to reunite with Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi, who previously coached him on the south coast. Personal terms between Van Hecke and Tottenham are reportedly agreed in principle, though the transfer fee remains a sticking point, with Brighton seeking a higher sum than Tottenham’s current offer.
Alongside Van Hecke’s potential arrival, Tottenham are also in talks concerning Luka Vuskovic.
