The summer transfer window continues to gain momentum with a flurry of activity across Europe’s top five leagues on July 10th, 2026. Tottenham Hotspur remain the most active club, bolstering their squad following two consecutive disappointing Premier League campaigns. Chelsea and the Manchester clubs have also made significant moves, while several continental giants are reshaping their teams.
Tottenham have spent over €260 million this summer, bringing in Sandro Tonali, Mateus Fernandes, Jan Paul van Hecke, Andrew Robertson, Marcos Senesi and Martin Dubravka under new manager Roberto De Zerbi. They are also reportedly interested in Bournemouth’s Eli Junior Kroupi, though they face competition from Arsenal. Chelsea have added Marco Palestra, Geovany Quenda, Emmanuel Emegha, Dastan Satpaev and Denner to their ranks, while simultaneously generating funds through the sales of Marc Cucurella to Real Madrid and Tyrique George to Everton.
Manchester City announced the arrival of Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest for a club-record fee, alongside winger Mathys Detourbet from Troyes. Manchester United have secured agreements for Karl Darlow, Ederson, and Andrey Santos. Arsenal are pursuing Newcastle United’s Bruno Guimaraes and Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers, indicating their ambition to challenge at the top of the Premier League. Liverpool have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Yan Diomande, who prefers a move to Paris Saint-Germain, but have added Victor Munoz and Jeremy Jacquet to their squad.
Barcelona have made a significant splash by signing Anthony Gordon from Newcastle United for €80 million, while Real Madrid have secured Cucurella, Bernardo Silva, Ibrahima Konate and Denzel Dumfries. Bayern Munich have completed a deal for Nathaniel Brown from Eintracht Frankfurt, and AC Milan have brought in Goncalo Ramos from Paris Saint-Germain. Elsewhere, Tommaso Martinelli has joined Avellino on loan from Fiorentina, and Aboubaka Soumahoro has moved to Mallorca from Hamburg, also on loan.
Notably, Manchester City also confirmed the loan move of Pierce Charles to Queens Park Rangers after signing the player from Sheffield Wednesday. These moves signal a proactive approach from clubs across Europe as they prepare for the upcoming season and attempt to strengthen their squads.
