Arsenal have reportedly intensified their pursuit of Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz, according to reports emerging from Turkiye. The Gunners have made an enquiry to the Italian club regarding a potential deal following Turkiye’s elimination from the 2026 World Cup, signalling a significant step in their interest.
Yildiz has been a long-term target for Arsenal as they seek to bolster their options on the left wing. The club is also monitoring other targets, including Bradley Barcola and Morgan Rogers, amid uncertainty surrounding the future of Gabriel Martinelli. However, Juventus are currently unwilling to sell the 21-year-old, who has four years remaining on his contract, and would demand a transfer fee “well in excess” of €100 million.
Arsenal are hoping to make Yildiz a “marquee arrival” this summer, with background work on a potential transfer having “intensified” in recent weeks. The forward has established himself as a key player for Juventus, contributing consistently in Serie A. His performances at the World Cup, despite Turkiye’s early exit, further highlighted his potential.
In addition to the pursuit of Yildiz, Arsenal have also registered a ‘tentative interest’ in Aston Villa defender Ezri Konsa, according to The Telegraph. The interest stems from manager Mikel Arteta’s desire for an upgrade on Ben White, with Konsa’s versatility – capable of playing both centre-back and right-back – proving appealing. Villa value Konsa at around £60m (€70m), a figure Arsenal may consider too high, particularly as Villa are reluctant to sell Morgan Rogers.
Elsewhere, Arsenal have renewed their enquiry for Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott, as reported by TEAMtalk. However, Bournemouth remain firm in their stance, stating they do not wish to sell Scott this summer unless a bid exceeding €80 million is received. The club may even increase their asking price following recent high-profile transfers in the league. The Gunners have also held preliminary talks with the representatives of Bayer Leverkusen’s Kerim Alajbegovic, a Bosnian wonderkid, as they continue to explore options to strengthen their attacking line.
