Como are again attempting to secure a loan deal for Real Madrid midfielder Nico Paz, according to reports in Italy. The move is contingent on manager José Mourinho releasing the Argentinian playmaker from his squad, though the possibility of a crowded midfield may force the manager’s hand.
Paz previously spent time with Como, and has reportedly indicated his willingness to return for a third spell with the club. Como’s sporting director Ludi and coach Fabregas have increased their efforts to bring the 19-year-old back to the club. He made 30 appearances across all competitions for Real Madrid Castilla last season, scoring 6 goals and providing 5 assists.
Como are also finalizing the arrivals of Yan Couto on a straight loan from Borussia Dortmund, and Kaiki from Cruzeiro for a fee of €14 million plus €1 million in add-ons. These additions will bolster Como’s defensive options ahead of the new Serie A season.
Elsewhere in Serie A, Lazio are set to lose Alessio Romagnoli to Al Sadd in Qatar for a reported €4 million. The defender has agreed to a three-year contract with the Qatari club, earning €6 million per year plus bonuses. Lazio are considering Diego Coppola of Brighton and Fabio Chiarodia of Borussia Mönchengladbach as potential replacements. They are also pursuing Jonathan Asp from Bayern Munich to strengthen their attacking midfield options.
Arnau Martinez of Girona is a target for Lazio at right-back, which could lead to Manuel Lazzari departing for Monza or Sassuolo. Fiorentina are monitoring Nec’s Basar Onal, while potentially offloading both Dodò and Robin Gosens. They are looking at Joao Mario (Juventus, loan with option to buy) and Matteo Ruggeri (Atletico Madrid) as potential replacements. Former Juventus player Kostic, currently a free agent, is also being considered.
Udinese are holding firm on a €40 million valuation for Atta, despite continued interest from Newcastle United. Bologna’s Lucumì is also expected to leave, with both Juventus and Bournemouth showing interest, triggered by a release clause valid until July 10th. Aquilani has been officially appointed as the new manager of Sassuolo on a two-year deal, while Parma have signed Lontani from Milan. Bologna’s Raimondo is set to join Frosinone on loan. Atalanta are tracking Jashari (Milan) and Keita (Parma) as potential midfield reinforcements. Lecce have renewed the contract of sporting director Stefano Trinchera until 2029.
Fiorentina have rejected a bid from Tottenham for Fagioli, who is expected to remain with the club.
