Inter defender Alexander Bisseck is attracting interest from Bayern Munich, according to reports in Italy. Representatives from Bayern were present at Inter’s headquarters recently, reportedly to discuss the 23-year-old’s future with his agent, Yusuf Kandemir, and Giovanni Branchini.
The visit to Inter was officially described as a courtesy meeting, but sources indicate Bayern are closely monitoring Bisseck’s situation. The German champions have yet to submit a formal offer for the player, who Inter value at €40 million. However, the situation is reported to be evolving, suggesting a potential bid could be forthcoming.
Bisseck joined Inter from Danish side FC Midtjylland in August 2023 and has made 16 appearances across all competitions this season, establishing himself as a rotational option in Simone Inzaghi’s squad. Prior to his move to Italy, the German-born defender progressed through the youth ranks at various clubs including Werder Bremen and Hannover 96.
Should Bisseck depart, Inter intend to reinvest a portion of the transfer fee into strengthening their defensive options, alongside Lorenzo Lucca and Matteo Solet. The club is also anticipating potential sales to further bolster their summer transfer budget, with Kristjan Asllani, Benjamin Pavard, and Luis Henrique all potential departures.
In separate news, Inter have confirmed the permanent transfer of Ebenezer Akinsanmiro to Pisa. The Serie B club will pay the agreed-upon fee of €6 million for the Nigerian midfielder. Inter will not have the option to re-sign Akinsanmiro, should they wish to do so, it would require a fee of €7.5 million. Pisa are also reportedly pursuing Inter’s Alessandro Cocchi as part of a potential deal involving Luca Palestra and Atalanta.
These moves demonstrate Inter’s proactive approach to squad management, balancing potential incoming transfers with the need to generate funds through player sales.
