Juventus defender Federico Gatti is a potential departure from Turin in the coming weeks, with Napoli emerging as a possible destination, according to transfer journalist Nicolò Schira. The update came during an appearance on Tuttosport’s YouTube program, Aperimercato.
The possibility of Gatti leaving Juventus has increased following the injury to Napoli’s Alessandro Buongiorno. Schira suggests that former Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri’s appreciation for Gatti could be a significant factor in any potential deal. Gatti made 35 appearances across all competitions for Juventus last season, establishing himself as a regular in the squad.
Juventus are reportedly prioritizing four signings this transfer window: a goalkeeper, a midfielder, an attacking midfielder, and a forward. The future of Dusan Vlahovic remains uncertain, with the club open to a sale if a suitable offer arrives, potentially freeing up funds for other areas of the squad. Vlahovic has been linked with a move to Barcelona, but currently, remaining at Juventus on a revised contract worth around €6 million per season is considered the most likely outcome.
Juventus are also in advanced talks with Parma regarding the transfer of Dennis Pellegrino, with his agents expected to arrive in Milan in the coming days to finalize the deal. The pursuit of Lorenzo Pellegrini from Roma appears more challenging, as the player is currently focused on negotiating a contract extension with his current club. In defense, Juventus are targeting Jhon Lucumí from Bologna, but a deal hinges on the club completing several player sales, including Daniele Rugani and Pedro Felipe. Should Gatti depart, it would further strengthen Juventus’s resolve to secure Lucumí’s signature for a fee below €20 million.
Fiorentina are also monitoring the market, with Joao Mario identified as a potential target should Dodo leave the club.
