Juventus are nearing the signing of Parma forward Mateo Pellegrino, while a move for Randal Kolo Muani remains complicated, according to reports in Italy. The Bianconeri are reportedly offering a five-year contract to Pellegrino, worth €2 million per season, quadrupling his current earnings at Parma.
Parma are seeking a permanent transfer for the player, hoping to free up funds for their own incoming business. Juventus are currently offering around €22 million for Pellegrino, plus a 7% sell-on clause for Velez, his former club. Negotiations are ongoing, with Juventus aiming to finalize the deal within days, potentially before their pre-season tour of Hong Kong and Australia.
Meanwhile, Juventus’ pursuit of Randal Kolo Muani is facing significant hurdles. Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly demanding over €40 million for the French international, despite Kolo Muani’s desire to return to Turin. The player enjoyed a successful eight-month spell with Juventus under coach Ivan Tudor, becoming a key figure in the attack, before a transfer to PSG failed to materialize last summer.
Juventus have indicated they cannot meet PSG’s valuation, offering a fee slightly below €40 million with a structure including bonuses. Juventus CEO Giovanni Carnevali has reportedly re-established a working relationship with PSG sporting director Campos in an attempt to facilitate the transfer. However, sources suggest that PSG are currently unwilling to compromise on their asking price, particularly while there is still time for other offers to emerge. Kolo Muani reportedly regrets waiting for Comolli, and not exploring other options sooner.
The situation mirrors last year’s failed attempt to bring Kolo Muani to Juventus, which ultimately led to a late move to Tottenham Hotspur.
