Juventus are pursuing Bayern Munich defender Kim Min-jae and Atletico Madrid striker Alexander Sorloth as potential summer signings, according to reports from Italy. The club, under new manager Luciano Spalletti, is aiming to strengthen its squad despite missing out on Champions League qualification.
Kim, who previously played in Serie A with Napoli under Spalletti during the 2022-2023 season, is reportedly open to a return to Italy. He has struggled for consistent playing time at Bayern since joining the club, and a move back to Serie A could offer him a more prominent role. However, Bayern are reportedly seeking a fee of around 40 million euros for the South Korean international, a figure Juventus may consider excessive given Kim’s current status within the Bayern squad. The club may be willing to sell Gleison Bremer to raise funds and create space for Kim should the defender arrive.
Alongside the pursuit of Kim, Juventus are also exploring options to bolster their attack following uncertainty surrounding Dusan Vlahovic’s future. With Vlahovic’s contract renewal talks stalled, the club is looking at alternatives, and Alexander Sorloth has emerged as a strong candidate. The Norwegian forward has impressed with 20 goals in approximately 2800 minutes for Atletico Madrid, making him an attractive option for Spalletti.
Juventus are reportedly considering offering Atletico Madrid winger Nico Gonzalez as part of a deal to bring Sorloth to Turin. Gonzalez spent last season on loan with Atletico and is unlikely to return to Juventus, potentially facilitating negotiations for the striker. The club has already contacted Sorloth’s representatives, and the player is reportedly interested in a move to Serie A, having previously played in the Premier League, Bundesliga, and La Liga. Juventus are actively working to strengthen their squad ahead of next season, with Spalletti eager to rebuild the team and improve on their recent sixth-place finish.
