Juventus are intensifying their efforts to secure a deal for Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani, reportedly offering up to €40 million for the player’s services. According to reports from Italy, Juventus’s most recent offer, facilitated by Carnevali, is around €37 million, with the potential for additional bonuses that could increase the overall fee. The club has signaled a clear intent to make significant progress in negotiations and overcome existing obstacles.
Juventus are expecting a reciprocal commitment from PSG, hoping the French club will honor previous agreements made when a fee of €40 million was initially discussed. However, negotiations have reached a standstill, with all parties remaining distant in their positions. A response from PSG is anticipated early next week, though optimism remains low, as the French side has consistently adopted a firm stance throughout the process.
Should the pursuit of Kolo Muani prove unsuccessful, Juventus are prepared to explore alternative options. Pellegrino has been mentioned, but is not considered a priority target. The club has made initial inquiries about an Argentinian forward, but a €30 million price tag and the selling club’s reluctance to sell present challenges. A loan deal for the Argentinian player is a possibility, but Juventus would require firm guarantees regarding the final payment.
Juventus’s management, including the CEO and Massara, are prioritizing player sales to free up funds and reshape the squad. They are actively engaged in discussions with several Serie A clubs and exploring potential outgoings to unlock the transfer market. The club’s aim is to build a competitive team capable of achieving significant results, acknowledging the challenges of their current position and the need for reconstruction. The CEO recently stated the club needs to “build a team that must try to achieve important results, knowing the difficulties that may be, where we have arrived and how we must rebuild to try to get as high as possible.”
Kolo Muani, 25, joined Paris Saint-Germain last summer from Eintracht Frankfurt, where he had established himself as a prolific goalscorer. He has struggled for consistent starts in Paris, and a move to Juventus could offer him a more prominent role. Juventus are looking to bolster their attacking options after a disappointing Serie A campaign last season.
