Lukeba joined Leipzig from Lyon in August 2023 for a reported fee of €34.5 million, quickly establishing himself as a key figure in the Bundesliga side’s defence. He has made 31 appearances across all competitions this season, demonstrating his reliability and composure at the back. However, with Leipzig anticipating potential changes in their squad, they are open to a sale if a suitable offer arrives.
The club has set a release clause of €80 million, but are reportedly willing to negotiate from around €60 million. This suggests Leipzig are realistic about the market and prepared to be flexible to secure a significant return on their investment.
