Manchester United, alongside Premier League rivals Brentford and Newcastle United, have expressed interest in TSG Hoffenheim winger Bazoumana Touré, according to reports in Germany. Sport BILD claims that United are particularly keen on the Ivorian international as they seek to bolster their attacking options ahead of the 2026-27 season.
Touré, who joined Hoffenheim in 2023, enjoyed a productive campaign last season, registering five goals and seven assists in 30 Bundesliga appearances. His performances have attracted attention from across Europe, with several clubs identifying him as a potential target. Manchester United are reportedly prioritizing players who are “young, lightning-fast and with enormous potential for improvement,” a profile that aligns with Touré’s attributes.
The 22-year-old is currently under contract with Hoffenheim until 2029, granting the Bundesliga club a strong negotiating position. Sporting director Andreas Schicker has publicly stated the club’s desire to retain key players, suggesting any potential sale will require a substantial offer. However, Hoffenheim are understood to be receptive to negotiations should a suitable bid be presented.
Sport BILD reports that Hoffenheim would likely demand a transfer fee in the region of €40 to €50 million for Touré. This valuation reflects the player’s age, potential, and recent performances. Securing Touré would represent a significant investment for any of the interested Premier League clubs, but his arrival could provide a long-term solution to their attacking needs. The competition for his signature is expected to be fierce, potentially driving up the transfer fee.
Touré has not yet represented the senior Ivory Coast national team, but has been a regular for the under-23s. His development at Hoffenheim has been steady, and a move to a larger club could accelerate his progress and provide him with a platform to showcase his talent on a bigger stage. A transfer to the Premier League would offer him the opportunity to test himself against some of the world’s best players and compete for major honors.
