Manchester United are poised to explore a transfer for Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott, according to reports from Ben Jacobs. The 22-year-old has emerged as a key target for the Red Devils following their unsuccessful pursuits of Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali.
Bournemouth are currently maintaining that Scott is not for sale and are planning to initiate contract extension talks, but Jacobs suggests this position will be challenged with offers arriving “in the coming days”. Scott has become a rising star in English football, and his potential arrival at Old Trafford would bolster United’s midfield options.
United are also monitoring Lille’s Ayyoub Bouaddi, though a potential deal faces complications. TEAMtalk reports that both Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are prepared to purchase the Moroccan international and immediately loan him back to Lille until 2027. This arrangement has prompted Lille to seek a €70 million fee, contingent on retaining Bouaddi for another season. While many clubs would accept this formula, United and Liverpool are reportedly hesitant to make a significant investment only to delay integrating the player into their squad.
Aurelien Tchouameni, previously considered a potential target for United, will remain at Real Madrid this summer. Jose Mourinho, the Real Madrid manager, has decided against selling the France international, reversing earlier expectations that the club would consider offers to fund other transfers. With deals for Enzo Fernandez and Rodri appearing unlikely, Mourinho intends to build his midfield around Tchouameni.
Looking further ahead, Tijuana’s 17-year-old wonderkid Gilberto Mora is expected to move to the Premier League in January. Rodrigo Lara states Mora, who recently extended his contract with Tijuana, has an exit clause in his deal that will become active when he turns 18 in October. United are among the clubs tracking the young Mexican sensation.
Finally, West Ham winger Crysencio Summerville is available for approximately €47 million due to a release clause in his contract, as reported by TEAMtalk. Following West Ham’s relegation, several Premier League clubs, including United and Chelsea, are interested in the Netherlands international. The release clause represents a significant reduction from the potential €80 million fee that would have been required had West Ham remained in the Premier League.
