The summer transfer window continues to see significant activity across Europe’s top five leagues, with numerous deals officially completed on July 10th, 2026. Tottenham Hotspur remain the most active club, continuing a substantial overhaul of their squad following two consecutive disappointing Premier League campaigns. They have spent over €260 million on Sandro Tonali, Mateus Fernandes, Jan Paul van Hecke, Andrew Robertson, Marcos Senesi and Martin Dubravka, signalling a clear statement of intent under new manager Roberto De Zerbi.
Chelsea have also been busy, adding Marco Palestra, Geovany Quenda, Emmanuel Emegha, Dastan Satpaev and Denner to their ranks. The Blues have also generated revenue through player sales, with Marc Cucurella departing for Real Madrid and Tyrique George joining Everton. Manchester City broke their transfer record to secure the services of Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest, alongside winger Mathys Detourbet from Troyes.
Manchester United have agreed terms for the signings of Karl Darlow, Ederson and Andrey Santos, bolstering their options in multiple positions. Arsenal are reportedly in advanced negotiations with Newcastle United’s Bruno Guimaraes and Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers, as they look to strengthen their midfield and attacking options. Liverpool, however, appear to have missed out on Yan Diomande, who is reportedly favouring a move to Paris Saint-Germain, but have added Victor Munoz from Osasuna and Jeremy Jacquet from Stade Rennais.
Across the continent, Barcelona completed a high-profile move for Newcastle United forward Anthony Gordon for a fee of €80 million. Real Madrid have also been active, acquiring Cucurella, Bernardo Silva, Ibrahima Konate and Denzel Dumfries. Bayern Munich secured the signing of Nathaniel Brown from Eintracht Frankfurt, while AC Milan added Paris Saint-Germain striker Goncalo Ramos to their squad. Several smaller deals were also confirmed across the Bundesliga and Serie A, including Nathan De Cat’s €17 million move from Anderlecht to Hoffenheim.
Today’s completed moves included Pierce Charles’ loan from Manchester City to QPR, and a series of loan deals in Italy involving players from Fiorentina and Venezia. These moves, while smaller in scale, demonstrate the continued activity throughout the transfer window as clubs prepare for the upcoming season. These signings indicate a widespread effort to reshape squads and address areas of weakness before the start of the new campaigns.
