Erblin Osmani is set to sign his first professional contract with FC Bayern Munich in the coming days, according to Sky Germany. The defensive midfielder, currently representing Germany at the U-17 level, will commit to a deal extending until 2029. This move represents a significant step forward for the young Munich native, who has already experienced first-team action with the Bundesliga champions.
Osmani initially began training with Bayern’s senior squad in February, quickly impressing staff with his technical ability. Manager Vincent Kompany granted him his debut during a 4-0 victory over Union Berlin, affording the youngster three minutes of playing time. Despite a subsequent setback with back problems, the club has maintained a strong belief in his potential.
Bayern’s plan is to integrate Osmani gradually, allowing him to continue training with the first team while gaining valuable match experience with the U-19 side. This approach reflects the club’s commitment to developing young talent and providing a pathway to the senior team. Osmani is a left-footed player known for his technical skill and is viewed as a promising prospect in the defensive midfield position.
The contract extension signifies Bayern’s faith in Osmani’s long-term development and their intention to nurture him within the club’s system. While no transfer fee is involved as this is a promotion from within the academy, securing Osmani on a long-term deal prevents other clubs from attempting to lure the talented midfielder away. This move solidifies Bayern’s midfield options for the future and provides Kompany with another promising player to shape.
