Röhl assumed the head coach position at Rangers in October 2025, taking over during a period of transition for the Scottish club. Prior to joining Rangers, Röhl built a reputation as a highly-regarded assistant coach, notably working alongside Julian Nagelsmann at RB Leipzig. Before his time in Leipzig, Röhl also served as an assistant coach at Bayern Munich, gaining experience within another of Europe’s elite clubs.
