Marc Cucurella, recently transferred to Real Madrid, has publicly expressed his desire for Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez to join him at the Santiago Bernabeu. Speaking to Radio MARCA, Cucurella stated Fernandez is a “great player and a friend” and he “hopes” the transfer will happen, adding they were “very happy at Chelsea” and would be delighted to continue their partnership in Madrid.
Meanwhile, former Chelsea striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has advocated for the reintegration of Nicolas Jackson into the Chelsea first team. Hasselbaink, speaking to FootballTransfers on behalf of 10bet, believes Jackson brings valuable energy and goal threat despite his tendency to miss chances, suggesting he could be useful across multiple attacking positions if Chelsea fail to secure an “elite striker.”
Trevoh Chalobah is expected to leave Chelsea this summer, with Serie A side Como having submitted an initial official bid for the centre-back. According to Fabrizio Romano, Como boss Cesc Fabregas, a former Chelsea player, has identified Chalobah as a key target ahead of their Champions League campaign, though Inter Milan has also shown interest. Chalobah is reportedly focused on the upcoming World Cup, but Champions League clubs are keen to secure his services.
Chelsea are also considering a move for Crystal Palace defender Maxence Lacroix, with contacts already established with the player’s representatives. Romano reports that the club views Lacroix as an excellent profile due to his age, technical qualities, Premier League experience, and international pedigree with France. However, Chelsea may pursue two centre-backs depending on potential departures.
Hasselbaink also stated that Chelsea could “easily replace” Fernandez should he move to Real Madrid, citing the abundance of quality midfielders available in world football and Chelsea’s continued appeal as a major club. He acknowledged Fernandez's strong performances but believes a suitable replacement can be found.
